First Born #SundayPhotoFiction

I always wanted to have space of my own,” she must have wondered aloud looking at the patch, when the real estate agent as if reading her mind said, “you can create a kitchen garden here.” This patch of green in the back of the house tilted the scale in favor of moving into this house.

Ever since she has moved into this house, she has made it her habit to come out here first thing in the morning to inhale fresh air, walk on the grass and have a look at the sky.

Standing in the middle of her kitchen garden, Sapna felt happy this morning. Her gardener had planted tomato seeds, today his effort has borne fruit. Looking at the bright red tomato that has matured to be picked, Sapna felt like a proud mother whose daughter is ready to go out in the open world.

Lets have salad today,” Sapna was startled to hear voice of her husband, who is normally never out of bed this early; She answered firmly, “No, my first born is not going to your salad bowl; want salad buy tomato from super market.”
